LUXURIOUS RUSTIC COTTO

The Luxurious rustic cotto collection is the result of a perfect combination of traditional antique ceramics and contemporary design. Close cooperation between designers and master craftsmen allows us to restore ancient production techniques and manufacture unique high-quality products with innovative surface treatment and shades. The application is versatile - floors, walls and special pieces for historical buildings, churches, castles, from the restoration of medieval monuments to luxurious contemporary realizations.

The entire production process is ecologically sustainable - natural clays are pressed by hand. The first firing is done only in traditional kilns using wood harvested from ethically managed forests. The second firing is done in solar powered electric ovens (100%). All glazes and colors are made from natural oxides.

Due to the hand-made production, it is possible to combine individual formats, textures, surface treatments and glazes as needed - if you are interested, we will be happy to provide you with additional information.

• NATURAL - Natural raw terracotta surface, with all the signs of hand-made production. Tiles have a rather rustic look and are particularly suitable for exteriors.

• SANDED - The sanded surface is achieved by hand, giving the tiles an older and "used" impression. Tiles with this texture are suitable for classical and rustic interiors, as well as for the reconstructions of historical buildings.

• SEMI-POLISHED - The semi-polished surface is flat, smooth, regular and pleasant to the touch. It is easy to maintain, which is why paving with this texture is particularly suitable for interior use.

• WASHED - This specific texture is achieved by wet-smoothing the surface as part of the production process. The finish is therefore smooth and soft, with slightly raised edges.

• NATURAL - Terracotta tiles without final surface treatment. After laying, it is possible to apply any treatment products suitable for terracotta.

• TR1 - Waxed semi-gloss finish with a wet effect is suitable for interior use. It emphasizes the color tones of the paving.

• TR2 - Waterproof treatment with a matte effect does not change the color of the tiles, they still look natural. Tiles treated this way are suitable for both interior and exterior use.
