TERRAZZO TILES
Terrazzo tiles are single or multi-coloured polished cement tiles, with decorative top layer (3-5 mm) with the mixture of marble grains or glass chips. This type of pavement, also known as "granito", was mostly being used at the beggining of the 20th century, with marble grains of various fractions.
The cement is pigmented by inorganic colouring - iron oxide, chrome and cobalt. These natural pigments have been used since ancient times and offer the best guarantee of quality, durability and safety. Finely calibrated marble grains or glass chips reinforce the cement mix, increasing the resistance to abrasion and impact. These granules in the wear layer, with a thickness of 3 to 5 mm, allow for polishing after installation, for leveling or restoration. This colourful top layer offers wide range of possible decorative combinations. With all the characteristics of classic terrazzo, this way you have the benefit of patterns.
Custom made production ensures unique results - you can choose from the 44-colour palette and more than 300 patterns of multiple styles. Terrazzo tiles are produced the same way as cement tiles, with additional polishing at the end for the satin or bright look. You can order three different square sizes - 20x20, 30x30 cm or hexagonal tiles - 20x23cm and 25x29cm. They are easy to install and maintain.
